I spent a happy Thursday working with Sylvia and Phil at the world famous Sculpture Gallery which stands in the South Court of the magnificent Woburn Abbey. I worked there as a favour to the main photographer and my friend Vicky Neale of SoPhoto. We worked at many weddings in our early years in the wedding photography business but not for about 18 months (strangely enough at Woburn Abbey also)!
I enjoyed myself tremendously and Sylvia and Phil were lovely to work with as were the staff at Woburn..especially Magda who was very well organised and quite beautiful too!
Apparently this wonderful building housed a sculpture collection belonging to the 5th Duke of Bedford…lucky for some!
The wedding was shot exclusively in the Sculpture Gallery and surroundings at Woburn Abbey. It’s quite breathtaking but I love grand venues such as these… Leeds Castle aslo springs to mind as a great place I have worked in the past.
