I was fortunate enough to stay with friends in the Snowdonia are of North Wales over the weekend.. I’ve never been there before..not sure why not.. as its absolutely stunning. In fact its probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. I love mountains.

I took one small light camera..the Sigma DP1. God..its great but oh so quirky! The weather threw everything at us over the course of the weekend as the wind, rain and occasional sunny spell swirled through the valleys’ in rapid succession. All made for an interesting set of images.. snapshots really..

I’m hopoing to use some of them as a basis for some painting over Christmas.. that would make a grand total of two canvas’s this year!!  A veritable production line.. (I’m sort of winking when I write this..an ironic wink)..
