Just a quick note to say what an excellent morning I thought it was at Gary Heiss’s photographic course this Sunday – having done a part-time course in digital photography at Roehampton College a couple of years ago I can really make a comparison of some experience.
The class was incredibly good value, extremely well organised with 2 models and lighting, Gary was available for hands on support at any time and I learnt more about my camera and it’s settings that morning than in almost a term of my other course ! We even managed to cover some theory and I got some extra attention as I was quite inexperienced compared to the other group members
I ended up with what I believe are an excellent set of portrait pictures and he has reconnected me with my camera and its potential- I ordered my 50mm lense this morning ! My wife couldn’t believe I took them !
I would highly recommend Gary’s informed, hands on teaching approach to anyone who really wants to progress – he also recommended a great book to order and we’ll be hooking up to photograph my paintings and to do some of my wife’s interior design projects very soon.
