Furzedown Community Network
The Furzedown Community Network. I posted for models to participate in building some ads for www.londonphototraining.co.uk and got a great deal of response. I! Hilary kindly volunteered to be a ‘model’ as I tested the new Coolite lights prior to filming a shoot with videographer David Lillywhite of www.magic-hourproductions.co.uk. Great to have continuous lighting again and daylight balanced helps! I’ll post some other images shortly and to all those who volunteered I will be getting to you at some point..!!
I want to publicise my training website www.londonphototraining.co.uk and the volunteer work I do at SproutArts too. I am giving a short talk about why I teach there for free later tonight. I’m very glad to tell anyone who is interested that the work I do at Sprout Arts benefits me greatly in terms of experience, feedback and in making new contacts (and friends) within my local community. As I said to Alison Royce (of Sprout) who does storytelling classes – some currencies other than money are equally as valuable!
(Update) The event at Sprout was great fun. Met architects and installation artists and the Sprout regular team..really enjoyed it. I said that I loved the gallery as it was all about local community involvement and encouraged imagination in it’s participants.. long may it continue.
